FIRST TECH
What is FTC?
- An international robotics competition for students in grades 7-12, with a new game released every September.
- Teams of up to 15 students design, build, and program a robot from a kit of parts and custom fabricated components to complete that year's game.
- Matches pair two alliances of two teams and run in two phases: a 30-second autonomous period on pre-written code, then a 2-minute driver-controlled period with handheld controllers.
- Beyond the field, teams are judged on their engineering notebook, outreach, and teamwork for awards that carry equal weight to on-field results.

We are Singularity Technology (#7034), a robotics team located in Wilton, CT, competing actively in FTC and FLL structures. Based out of Wilton Library, we run a diverse team open to students in grades 6-12 across surrounding regions.
Each season, our goal is to design, iterate, and program competition-ready systems to hone technical expertise. We share our workflow through 20+ community outreach events annually to inspire local engineering interest.
